Nicklaus Children’s Hospital reached out to DSignage in search for a more enjoyable wayfinding experience for their patients and visitors. The IT department had done research into the idea but noticed all wayfinding solutions were very bland, lacking good UI/UX designs making it confusing for users.
Working hand-in-hand with the NCH Team to design and create and IOS style interface where users intuitively understand how to navigate and find directions to desired locations. We also sprinkled a little extra flavor into the Info Stations by integrating it with existing legacy systems for movie theater times, food menus, donor recognition and much more!
DSignage located indoor Info Stations in building lobbies as well and interactive stations in outdoor garages. Social Robots were also brought into the project allowing kids to play games, dance and turn selfies into avatars while parents can find directions and local dining. Social Robots have large room to grow as motion sensor technology and voice recognition can be added and configured to recognize and guide guest to their destinations!
